Why We Built This Site
Pennsylvania provides several forms of public access, but each custodian answers a different question. Bucks municipal police hold their incident reports, the Clerk of Courts maintains filed criminal cases, Bucks County Corrections keeps county booking and custody files, and the Pennsylvania State Police Central Repository issues PATCH responses. State custody belongs to PA DOC, while the Pennsylvania Megan's Law Public Website serves the separate registry function. This resource brings together the verified contacts, official portals, fees, and request steps needed to choose among them.
What You Will Find Here
- Record guides: how to search and read Bucks County court cases
- Official check instructions: how PATCH name checks and IdentoGO fingerprint channels differ
- Agency contacts: where Bucks courts, police departments, Corrections, and statewide systems can be reached
- Record relief information: where Pennsylvania expungement, Clean Slate, and limited-access requests begin
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately operated reference resource with no affiliation to a Pennsylvania court, police department, sheriff, county office, or state agency. Its limits include the following:
- It cannot issue an official background check or retrieve a person's criminal record
- It cannot submit an expungement petition, records request, or court filing for a visitor
- It cannot certify a docket, repository response, or other government document
- It cannot provide legal advice about a charge, warrant, disposition, or request for relief
- It cannot promise that a government fee, address, telephone number, or schedule has not changed
An official copy must come from the agency that maintains it, such as the Clerk, the creating police department, Bucks Corrections, or the Pennsylvania State Police.
Search Partners
Outside providers operate search boxes appearing on some pages and control their own prices, products, and results. A paid enrollment reached through one of those tools may produce a referral payment that supports site operation. Bucks County Criminal History does not set the provider's charges or determine the information it returns.
